Briana had a wonderful 9th birthday (even though she had to go to school!). Tradition in our family is to open birthday cards the morning of a birthday and then open presents in the evening. Since Briana gets up at the crack of dawn to go to school and is less than coherent sometimes (heh), we opened her cards the evening before...
