The Saturday before the start of school, friends Ansu, Khalid and Kira invited Doug, Bri and I over to their house for some swimming at their house and dinner. It was a perfect way to cap off an amazing summer vacation. It was a hot afternoon, so hanging out in the pool was absolutely perfect.

The adults ate, drank and laughed a whole lot that night. A great way to say goodbye to summer vacation.
Sunday was a super low key day. We didn't do much of anything. We were gearing up for a school the next day.
We did have a nice dinner at our favorite bbq joint Sunday evening...
What a summer. We did a lot in just nine short weeks. I'll do a quick recap in my next post...
