Indoor Summertime Fun

Another way to stay cool in the summer that doesn't involve swimming is staying indoors of course! Doug, Bri and I had our friends the "S" family come over for dinner one evening (smoked pork chops for the adults/brats for the kids).

Doug made the most yummy white sangria...

My friend Lisa made the most delicious mini cheesecakes with dulce de leche. Scrumptious...

We did a little measuring and realized that Bri has shot up quite a bit in height. I'm honestly wondering how tall B's gonna get...

 A few days later, Bri and I headed to Lisa and Maisie's house for lunch - lots of Minecraft for the young girls and lots of good conversation for the moms (in the air conditioning)...

Right before school started, we met up with Bri's sweet school friend Meredith and her family for some indoor rock climbing/gaming fun...

We had not checked out Lakepoint Station before, but it was AMAZING! So much for kids to do.

Bri won 3 balls from a crane machine for Meredith, Meredith's little brother and for herself. But she didn't catch anything out of this mega crane...

It was so nice hanging out with the "C" family. We must do it again soon!

What's another place that keeps you cool in the summer? The mall of course! Bri and I met Gramma at the mall one day for a "girls shopping day."

Another good way to stay cool in the summer is to just stay home and chill all day in your jammies with your cat...

Everyone needs a day like that once in a while. ;)
