Lots of Summer Sleepover Fun

This was definitely the summer of the sleepover for Briana! Somehow all of B's sleepovers were grouped in June, so that made for one tired girl at the end of the month!

Bri's summer started with a sleepover party for her friend Imerie's birthday...

Then she stayed with Gramma and Papa for a few days as you know...

During her cake decoration/sweets camp, Briana had sleepover #3 at her friend Mary's house. Bri brought along her swimsuit to swim in Mary's pool, and she realized that Mary had the exact same swimsuit!

Briana had the best time that evening, and while she was away, Doug and I had a nice date night...

In June, Briana invited her BFF Chani over for her final sleepover of the summer. We brought Chani out to dinner at Stevie B's (our traditional "go to" restaurant when a friend of Bri's comes to visit)...

There is a game room in the restaurant and the games give out tickets. Somehow, both of these lucky girls hit "100 tickets" on one of the games. How it happened for each of them is beyond me! They were so excited...

They walked out of that restaurant with a lot of useless crap fun stuff.

Sleeping quarters for the night...

They enjoyed a breakfast of champions. Ok not really. It was only donuts, bacon and strawberries - but they enjoyed it...

Then I took the girls to our neighborhood pool. The skies were gray that morning, so the pool was empty. They had the place to themselves...

It was a bit chilly when they stood outside the water...

Finally the sun peeked out and they started to dry out. Bri thought it was too sunny...

She finally started to relax when she stuck a Caprisun in her mouth...

So after her 4th sleepover of the month, Briana looked like this...

 Bri is becoming much more comfortable sleepover over at friend's houses and I am getting much more comfortable with kids coming over to my house. ;)

It is nice when B's friends can come over (or she goes to them), and they can spend extended time together - especially when the girls don't get to see each other during the school year as much as they would like.
