My friend Debra and her boys arrived at my house Monday evening of last week and I couldn't have more excited to see them. Doug and I had met Spencer when he was a baby, but we never met Sean and Deb had never met Briana. It was a great reunion!
When they arrived, I had baked ziti waiting for them...
The kids became friends instantaneously. They didn't argue at all. It was amazing!
The next morning, the sky was looking a bit gloomy. I really wanted to take them to the neighborhood pool, but I was worried we would get there and then have to pack up and head home. So we opted for sprinklers, a slip n slide and water guns. They played in the water for over an hour and loved every second of it...
I fed them lunch and they played in Bri's playroom all afternoon.
We decided to eat at a sushi restaurant for dinner.
The kids upstairs had been working on superhero gear. Briana showed me her power blasters...
Riding in the car...
Spencer's Wolverine claws...
Sean's cute smile...
And you can see the sun decided to come back out in time for dinner.
We dined on delicious sushi and then I asked Doug to take a picture of me and Deb. As you can see, Spencer wanted in on the action...

When we got home, the kids played and played again. They came downstairs to show us a dragon parade - a dragon made out of a feather boa. Wonder who thought up that idea (snort)...
We finally got the kids in bed and the parents stayed up talking. And we did that each night. So much fun. We were sad that Debra's husband Dave couldn't join us this trip though.
I had big plans for the next day. The science museum!!!
