A Quiet Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve for a little triangle family is always quiet, and that is how we like it. With all the hoopla leading up to Christmas and the excitement of Christmas Day, we like to take a breath and just be quiet.

We ate our Christmas dinner in front of the television this year and watched "Elf"...

After the movie and cleaning the dishes, it was time to put out cookies and milk (and carrots for the reindeer of course)...

Bri went to sleep surprisingly quick. It was then time to put out the presents. Mei Mei got her gift a bit early since she was present for the placing of the gifts...

She was hilarious. She absolutely loved her new perch. She rolled and rolled around on it. I never thought I'd see a cat get so excited over a Christmas present (I'm still trying to figure out if she is part dog)...

All the presents were finally out, and it was time for us to turn in...

Santa came. So very exciting!
