Where's Red?

Red the Elf showed up the day after Thanksgiving, and for an entire month, every single morning, the question I heard was "Where's Red?" Bri excitedly looked for Red each morning.

Bri was so excited when he showed up that first day...

Then he started peeking through windows...

Riding giraffes...

Hiding in pots...

Blending in with Beanie Boos...

Hanging with snowmen...

 And pandas...

 Overlooking stockings...

Watching TV with Bri (she turned on the Elf on the Shelf cartoon that day so he could watch his friends)...

Playing with Legos...

Standing at attention...

And eating rice krispy treats...

He visited with his Jewish polar bear friend during Hanukkah...

 And it was very exciting because the tooth fairy arrived while Red was on duty. They had a conversation and the tooth fairy informed Red about the Peppermint Patties that were in the house. He checked them out for himself...

And he had a marshmallow snowball fight...

On Christmas Eve, he looked at his favorite picture of Bri until it was time to leave...

On Christmas Day, Red left Bri a farewell note. Bri is always sad when Red has to fly back to the North Pole with Santa...

I just love the magic of Christmas. It's exhausting (heh), but it is totally worth it. :)
