Halloween Festivities (Including The Party I Missed)

We LOVE Halloween in our household. Briana told me as we were leaving the house this morning "Mama, I will be sad when Halloween is over in a few days." Me too darlin', me too.

Of course, we had to carve pumpkins this past Sunday...

Bri's Princess, Angel, Gardener pumpkin is on the left, the one Bri designed and I carved is on the right and Daddy's is in the middle (Storm Trooper). Can you tell? :D

 Saturday night was the super fun costume party we were invited to at my neighbors/friends house. I was just too sick to get around anyone (I had pink eye and a cold), so I stayed home and Bri and Doug went.

Doug threw together this "Matt Foley - Motivational Speaker" costume...

And look at all the fun I missed. Bri had a blast with her friends though...

I can't tell you how sad I was to miss this. I don't miss much, so when I do, it is a huge bummer for me. But, I want to thank everyone at the party that looked after my two peeps the whole night for me. They had so much fun and I am so glad they had such a great evening! Maybe we do this again next year? Hopefully? ;D

Her Royal Majesty - Queen Amidala

Briana went to a Halloween costume party last night and this is her Halloween costume - Queen Amidala. I did a little photo shoot in the afternoon because I know she will be crazy and probably not too cooperative for photo taking on Halloween night! She has definitely graduated from princess to queen. :)

She spotted this costume in a catalog over a month ago and fell in love with it. I ordered it and figured out how to do the makeup. She looks so adorable.

Red Ribbon Week (Assortment Of Outfits)

This whole week at school has been Red Ribbon Week (Say No To Drugs).

Monday's Theme ~ "Put A Cap On Drugs" (Hat Day)...

Tuesdays Theme ~ " I Pledge To Say No To Drugs" (Red, White and Blue Day)...

Wednesday's Theme ~ "Join The War Against Drugs" (Camouflage Day) 

(Obviously, Briana owns no camouflage. About two weeks ago, I found an inexpensive pink camouflage type shirt online and bought it. As I tracked the package, I saw that the post office sent it to the wrong city. So, it finally arrived in the mail - Wednesday evening. Lovely.) 

So, we went with the closest thing Bri had - tie dye...

Thursday's theme ~ "Show Your Drug Free Spirit" (Spirit Day)...

And Today's Theme ~ "Choose School, Not Drugs" (College Team Day)...

It is so cute that my Asian girl roots for the Irish...

And I am not sure why she constantly likes to stick her tush out at me (she thinks it is funny)...
