A Night With P!nk (Beautiful Trauma Tour)

Oh. My. Gosh. What an AMAZING concert!! P!nk is such an awesome performer and her concert did not disappoint.

My hubby surprised me on Christmas with tickets to the P!nk concert and it finally arrived on March 12th (we had awesome seats)...

Bri loves P!nk too, and all three of us were super excited...

There was a DJ "Kidcutup" that kept 80's tunes going until the opening act came out and then again before P!nk came out. He was really entertaining...

You know he's pretty good when security is dancing along...

Julia Michaels was the opening act...

She is a prolific songwriter and has written many songs for popular artists - including Justin Bieber (it's funny - Ed Sheeran wrote for Justin Bieber too). This is "Sorry"...

Her popular hit "Issues"...

And then it was time for P!nk!!! The show started with a man walking on stage playing the "20th Century Fox Theme Song" on a recorder (recorders just don't sound good - which made it super funny)...

Curtain drop and there is the main attraction dangling from a pink chandelier...

Singing "Get The Party Started" and "Beautiful Trauma"...

Costume change time. Coming out to sing "Just Like A Pill" and "Who Knew"...

Loved the "Revenge Land" part of the show - so much fun (she actually kicks a huge Eminem inflatable on stage during the "Revenge" number)...

Love when P!nk does her arial acrobatics - "Secrets"...

Slowing it down a little for "Try", "Just Give Me A Reason" and her new one "Walk Me Home"...

Loved the "Just Like Fire" number. Bri knew all the words...

All dressed in white for this section - songs included "What About Us" and "Perfect"...

She is so fierce and confident...

Time to "Raise Your Glass"...

Blow Me One Last Kiss...

She introduced her dancers and her daughter Willow came running on stage to say hi...

The Encores - "So What" (she flew around the entire arena for this number - just amazing)...

And "Glitter In The Air"...

Sorry this posted ended up being so long, but there were so many amazing numbers that I just couldn't leave out of this post. And surprisingly, I did leave a few songs out! It was seriously a jam-packed concert. So, so good.

We had seen the "Captain Marvel" movie two days before the P!nk concert. We had a lot of "Girl Power" going on!

A huge thank you to my hubby for such a fun evening. I love watching Briana enjoy all these concerts. P!nk was her 4th one. We are so excited to see Queen with Adam Lambert in August. Bring it on!!!

This And That (Friends, Movies, A Concert and Junior Beta Club)

It was a bit difficult coming home and getting back to reality after our NY trip. Luckily, we came home with a few days left in Bri's winter break so she could just chill after our whirlwind vacation.

Someone was very happy that we came back home...

Bri was able to spend an afternoon/evening with her friend Meredith during our winter break...

Unfortunately a few days after our return from NYC, I got sick. I am notorious for getting sick after I fly. I got a nasty head cold - not fun.

Luckily, I managed to get over my cold pretty quickly (which is quite unusual for me) and felt good enough to attend Bri's induction ceremony into Junior Beta Club. She's been in the club since the beginning of the year, but the induction didn't happen until the end of February. Not sure why. I was just happy it happened at all.

Bri looked so pretty for the ceremony...

Bri's friend Meredith was getting inducted too...

Taking the oath...

Receiving her certificate...

Officially inducted (so, so proud)!!!

Of course to stay in Beta Club, Bri needs to continue her volunteer work each week. She still really enjoys going to the dog shelter to read to the doggies. It's getting tougher and tougher to leave each time without one.

This is Olympia. She is the SWEETEST dog on the planet...

And this is Theo. This is the doggie that Bri would bring home if she could. She has fallen in love with him...

Since we've been home, Doug, Bri and I have seen two movies and went to an amazing concert.

First we saw "How To Train Your Dragon: Hidden World"...

And we also saw "Captain Marvel" (my Avengers girl was beyond excited) - we went with Bri's friend Meredith and her dad Kai...

And the concert we went to was "P!nk"!!!! She was AMAZING!!!!! But I will do a whole separate post on that...

Bri got to spend a Saturday with her friend Mary...

And to remind Bri of her visit to NYC Chinatown, I hung this lantern for her (that she bought there) in her tween room...

So that is just some of what we've been up to since winter break. Doug is back to work (he was in San Francisco for a week), Bri is back to school and I am holding down the fort at home.
