Winter Break Recap - Friday At The Aquarium

Last Friday was a jam-packed day! Doug took the day off, and we were originally scheduled to go to the zoo with Bri's friend Chani, but unfortunately, there was a big threat of thunderstorms for Friday, so we opted to go to the aquarium instead. Kathy and Chani had just been to the aquarium, so it ended up being just me, Doug and Bri on Friday (we missed the girls very much!). Briana had been to the aquarium about a year and a half ago, but there was so much that she didn't remember. I'm so glad she loved going again. We hit River Scout section first, went to Cold Water Quest, moved on to Ocean Voyager, walked through Tropical Diver and then played in Georgia Explorer (we did squeeze lunch in too). And in the afternoon, we checked out the new dolphin show "Dolphin Tales" (which was fantastic) and the 4D movie. The last stop was the Frogs exhibit...

Winter Break Recap - Thursday Birthday Party (3rd B-Day Party Of The Year)

First, I need to say "Happy Leap Day!" 

Last Thursday afternoon, this pretty little girl turned 5! Bri's friend Hailey had her birthday party at her neighborhood playground, and the kids had fun eating crackers and cupcakes and playing on all the playground equipment. The cupcakes were all pink - strawberry with strawberry icing. Of course, Briana gobbled it up!

It was a picture perfect weather day in February. It felt more like a day in March or April!

Winter Break Recap - Wednesday At The Science Museum

Briana and I met Aunt Amy and Cousin N at the science museum last Wednesday. Bri and Cousin N were so excited to see each other. They ran from exhibit to exhibit and had an absolute blast. They were so cute because they held hands almost everywhere they went together. I love the relationship they have. Hopefully they will always be close...

Briana was very excited to wear her rainbow skirt on Wednesday. And I think she had a really good day. What do you think? ;)
