14th Briana Day Anniversary

Fourteen years ago, on a hot July afternoon in Chongqing, China, we met our beautiful Jiang Ai Juan for the very first time. She was tired, hungry and overwhelmed at first, but after drinking a bottle, taking a nap and getting away from the chaos, we started to see her wonderful personality come through.

Doug and I are beyond blessed to be able to raise and love our beautiful Briana. Watching her grow and thrive has been the biggest gift of our lives. It's an honor to be her mom and dad.

Returning Soon

 Well hello everyone! I cannot believe it has been over a month since I have blogged. I have to admit - I really needed the break. It was nice. But, I am feeling ready to come back now. My family of three did a lot over the summer and we have a lot of things coming up as well - our family/gotcha day anniversary, Bri's first day of 10th grade, Briana's birthday, etc. I need to get back so I can blog all about all of it!
