A Picture Perfect Sunday

The day that I did the photo shoot for Briana was literally picture perfect. It was cool and the sky was amazing. We hit two different places. We went to the river to get the first shots and then Doug found a covered bridge about 25 minutes away from our house to take a look at. We took a ton of photos! Doug took some great ones of the covered bridge and of a yellow flower Briana was holding. Enjoy the pics of our beautiful Sunday.

  

Briana October Photo Shoot

I went out to do a photo shoot today because the weather was so gorgeous and I thought I would get some lovely fall shots. But with Briana's floral outfit and all the green that is still hanging around, the shoot looks more like a spring/summer shoot than an autumn shoot! Not gonna work for Christmas cards. Oh well. I still got some really pretty shots of my girl! Enjoy!!

1980's Party (And Yes, I Dressed Up)

And Doug did too. Ladies and Gentleman, I am being quite brave posting these pics - LOL! Doug and I dressed up for a 1980's surprise birthday party a few weekends ago and it was so fun! I seriously cannot believe I actually dressed similar to this in my teens, but we won't go there.

And as Doug and I were going down memory lane, my parents came over to watch Bri for a few hours. This is what she was doing while we were sipping on wine coolers and walking like an Egyptian *snort*...

Life is Like A Rainbow...

“Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear.”

I was driving home on Tuesday evening around 6:30PM and when I drove into my neighborhood, I noticed the beautiful sky and a tiny circle of color. There was a mini rainbow in the sky. I snapped a couple pictures with my i*Phone. It was just so pretty.
