Briana and Chani loved "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" so much last year at the Puppetry Arts Center, Kathy and I (and the dads) decided to bring the girls again this year. But this year, Bri's Cousin N joined us for the show and he loved it! Since Briana made a Rudolph puppet last year, this year she opted for Clarice...
And once again, we ended our evening at Joe's Crab Shack. Below is the yummy drink Kathy and I both ordered. Being quite thirsty, we ordered it again. We were feeling quite toasty and full of Christmas spirit. Heh...
If you eat at Joe's, you know that every so often, the wait staff turns the music up and they do a dance. They announced they were going to dance and the girls were excited...
They were so excited, they started to dance without music and then the YMCA came on...
What a fun afternoon and evening. Mmmmm, I'm craving another one of those drinks!

Crazy Hair Spirit Day
A week ago, Briana's school had Crazy Hair Spirit Day. The kids were asked to wear their school spirit wear and have crazy hair. Briana and I decided that a Christmas-themed crazy hair was appropriate...
There was another Crazy Hair Spirit Day right before Halloween too. The PTA was asking for money to have hair made up crazy at school and they were also telling temporary tattoos. I sent Briana along with her money to school looking like this...
And she came home like this...
Her hair was full of sticky colored sparkle hairspray and though it was really cute, I had to wash it all out that night. The PTA was selling the "crazy hair" and tattoos again last week, but I decided to crazy up Bri's hair on my own this time! It was a lot less sticky!!

Christmastime In Our Neck Of The Woods
A bloggy friend of mine asked if I was going to post any pictures of my home decorated this year, and her wish is now granted! Here are a few pictures - unfortunately, I have snapped photos very quickly this year and some of the photos are a bit grainy, but here they are! The above pic is of our main (real) tree in our living room and here is my mantle and fireplace...
This is the tree in the master bedroom (I think I need to add garland next year)...
My kitty likes to sit under it...
Here is Miss B helping pick out our tree...
And Santa sent another e-mail message this year to Briana. She is on the nice list thank goodness...
She smiled throughout the whole video. :D
So that is a little of what is going on in our house for Christmas. And as you can see, Miss B has been feeling a bit festive herself...
Tonight, the kindergartners are performing Christmas songs at Briana's school and I can't wait to see my gal. Tomorrow is her class party and then she is off for two whole weeks!

Our China Tree
Briana and I decorated a special tree this year with all of our China-themed ornaments. We have some that were purchased in China and some that we have collected here in the states. I got the China tree idea from bloggy friend Sandra. Her girls have decorated a China tree for years and I have always admired the idea. I found a little tree on sale last year right after Christmas and I knew it was perfect. I had a snowflake-shaped tree topper sitting in my basement forever and I knew it would be great for the top.
Here is Miss B decorating the tree...
A few sparky snowflakes thrown in to match the topper and we now have a China-themed snowflake Christmas tree.
Our elf "Red" liked our tree so much, he decided to hide in there one day last week...
We love our little China tree. It reminds us of the wonderful country where Briana was born. A country that a piece of our hearts will always remain.

Fifteenth Birthday Party Of The Year
Mary Lin turned 5 years old (the weekend of Thanksgiving)! Briana was invited to Mary Lin's manicure/pedicure birthday get together the weekend after Thanksgiving, along with sweet friend Imerie. The three girls had so much fun picking out colors and getting their nails done. Briana had never had her nails done in a salon before. After getting all beautiful, the mamas and little girls headed over to our favorite Chinese restaurant - where the girls chowed down on soup, dumplings and birthday cake. It was a wonderful evening!!! Enjoy the pictures...
