This was Ginger. She belonged to my childhood friend Jennifer and her husband Greg. She was struck and killed by a hit and run driver last night.Greg was walking Ginger around 10PM when a car struck her. The force pulled Greg's hand which was wrapped by Ginger's leash and now he has to see a hand surgeon. The car that hit her slowed, then sped up and drove away. Ginger was 9 years old and was extremely sweet and loving. I wanted you all to meet her.
May I just ask what the heck is wrong with people?
I wish I could be there to give Jennifer a great big hug right now. Please say a little prayer for all of them.

Oh no! That is so sad! Poor sweet Ginger and I am so sorry for your friends!! Just awful. I cannot believe the people did not stop. Shameful. I hope his hand surgery goes okay :(

What was the driver thinking? Hitting a dog being walked by the owner?
Pardon my French but people like that deserve to rot in hell. That makes me so angry. I know it very well could've been an honest mistake. Maybe she darted too close to where the car was but man, even the guy who had his lawn sprayed with ChemLawn that unfortunately ended my Siamese's life knew he belonged to us and brought him back to us when he found him dead in his yard. He apologized profusely but my cat didn't know it had been sprayed with chemicals nor did the guy honestly believe that he would find a dead cat in his yard.
What do you expect from people who probably don't respect other human beings let alone animals. It's a shame that you're friend didn't get the persons license plate.
