Graduation Celebrations

I mentioned a few times that Briana was not interested in having a big graduation party thrown for her. She just not one for parties in general. She prefers small, quiet gatherings. 

We have had three celebration dinners so far, and we might end up have one or two more before she heads to SCAD if we can get them scheduled.

Our first dinner was with my family - my sister, BIL, the cousins and my parents. We ate at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse...

The food was so good that night and the service was impeccable...

We then had dinner with our good friends, the C family. We ate Korean BBQ and sushi and it was so good. I am so sad that Bri and her bestie Meredith won't be going to school together anymore. They promised they would stay in touch when they come home from college...

Then we had dinner with Briana's two best friends Imerie and Mary at The Melting Pot. My bestie Amy (Mary's mom) joined us, but my other bestie Valerie (Imerie's mom) was sick and wasn't able to make it. But we missed her so much!

 I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who celebrated with Briana. And I also want to say another huge thank you for all the cards, gifts, checks, cash, gift cards and best wishes that were given to Briana for her graduation. She really felt so much love.

And a quick little addition...

 

Briana absolutely loved Mr. Mac's (mac n cheese) restaurant when we drove through New Hampshire back in September on vacation. They do ship, but it costs a pretty penny. One of Bri's graduation gifts was us buying a few trays of different flavors of mac n cheese to eat and to freeze. The day after graduation, we warmed up two of the trays (deluxe cheeseburger & lobster) and enjoyed that for dinner. Sooooo good! We also got a Philly cheese steak, pizza and buffalo chicken.
