We rang in new year 2018 with a couple of our favorite families - the M family and the S family (the S family hosted).
The last three years, Bri, Doug and I have opted for quiet New Years Eves at home. But, it was nice to have a change and celebrate with friends.
Funny - the last time we celebrated NYE with friends it was with the same bunch. (Except for the G family. Sadly, Ilene, Michael and April couldn't join us this year.)
Since we, the S family and the M family weren't able to get together for a fall gathering like we usually do each year (due to busy schedules), it was nice to spend NYE together.
M, C and B always love seeing each other. I can't get over how grown up they are...

Lisa had an adorable backdrop put up and provided fun objects for photo opps. Both kids and parents had fun with them...

After chatting and catching up, the parents were getting a bit tired waiting for the ball to drop but the girls were still raring to go...
Time for a toast. Champagne for the adults and sparkling grape juice for the kids...
Maybe celebrating the new year with friends will be the key to me not getting sick this year. Wouldn't that be nice?
