All About Autumn And Thanksgiving

I guess I should talk about Thanksgiving and the fall season now that we are in the thick of the Christmas season! I'm falling behind again!

The time between Halloween and Thanksgiving always goes by quickly and this year was no different.

Unfortunately, the leaves in our neck of the woods overall this autumn season were a bit underwhelming. The colors weren't as vibrant as in years past and the leaves seemed to fall off the trees quickly.

I did manage to snap some pics of a few pretty trees that I managed to see...

The tree in the upper left of the collage is right in front of my house, so I was happy that tree showed off its color this year.

Doug took down all the outside Halloween decorations and replaced them with our autumn scarecrows...

I decorated the inside of the house...

Briana and I headed to our favorite local craft fair the weekend before Thanksgiving (we hadn't been since before the pandemic). We had so much fun that day (and bought way too many goodies!)...

Thanksgiving rolled around and it was a great day. Lots of good food and laughs with my mother and father and my sister, BIL and the nephews...

And I usually don't decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving, but this year, I had two of my Christmas trees up. I am moving slower these days and it takes longer for me to decorate now. So, the trees were added to my Thanksgiving decor...

And finally, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Doug, Bri and I went to see Cirque du Soleil. We had not seen a Cirque performance since 2019 (Volta) and we were so excited to be able to see a show again. This year was Echo...

There is so much to share about the show, I will write it all up in my next post. Be back soon!

Hope you all had a great autumn season!
