Painting Workshops

The day after returning from Savannah (Monday morning), Bri had a two hour canvas painting workshop at a local pottery shop with her friend Chani. I was surprised to find out that no one else had signed up for the workshop, so the girls basically had a private lesson (which Bri really loved).

 And we returned to the same pottery shop on Wednesday of the same week for a Frozen-themed pottery painting workshop. The kids painted a plate and an ice cream bowl.

The kids had Burger King brought in for lunch (it was a 5 hour workshop with lunch on this day) and Klondike bars. Bri got a bit upset when the chocolate ice cream bars ran out before she was able to get one. There was vanilla left, but she really dislikes vanilla. I was told by the instructor that a few tears were shed, but she got over it quickly. (Personally, I would have had enough chocolate available for everyone just in case ~ because chocolate is much more popular ~ but that's just me.)

We had to wait about a week to pick up the art pieces, but we finally picked them up and they turned out adorable...

Briana loves, loves, loves art. She could craft all the time. If school was all about painting, drawing and crafting, she would go happily each and every day.
