Briana's last day of school was on Thursday, but Wednesday was the day for class parties. She, of course, wanted to put on one of her prettiest dresses...
There was no school performance for the parents this year, but Briana's teacher and another 1st grade teacher (from across the hall), decided to put on a holiday performance with just their two classes (they did ask the other 1st grade teachers if they wanted to participate but they declined). The kids practiced songs and poems for several weeks. Then the two classes gathered together and we got an amazing performance!
The parents were directed into a different (bigger) classroom and the kids came in and sat down with the cutest little reindeer hats on...
They sang "Rudolph," "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas,", "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and recited a poem...
Here are some super cute videos...
Then they started singing "Feliz Navidad"...

It was so cute when they pointed to say "I Want To Wish You A Merry Christmas"...
Then the kids popped up (some of them) and started dancing. Briana totally got into it. Check out the video and pictures...
After the performance, we went back to Bri's classroom where the kids had pizza and a book exchange...

My mom was able to come and see Bri sing...
Briana made us presents in adorable gift bags...
Pizza - yum...
The kids sat in a circle for the book exchange...
This is the book Bri got (upside down)...
Bri and her friend A looking at their books...
And one of the best parts - snuggles with Daddy...
I don't even need to receive any gifts at Christmas. Watching my daughter sing Christmas songs and enjoy the Christmas season is really the biggest present I could ever receive. She makes me so happy.
(A quick side note though - if Doug does read this post, he does not have to return any gifts he bought me for Christmas back to the store. Just sayin' - LOL! )
And as I mentioned earlier, Thursday was the last day of school before break. Miss B got to wear her pajamas to school that day...
She is stylin' even in PJ's. :)
