Another Awesome Summer Week (Cooking Camp)

Last week, Briana had the best time ever. It was her first camp of the summer! She went to a cooking camp with her friend ML. My friend Amy and I came up with a great carpooling schedule and things went super smooth!

Monday, Bri was all smiles heading off to camp (even though it was early!)...

Bri and ML ran into their friend S as they went into camp...

Chit chatting before heading inside...

Amy picked the girls up that day and took them to get some frozen yogurt...

Tuesday was my day to pick the girls up from camp. I brought ML home with me so the girls could have some sliding fun...

What is more fun than getting wet and eating snow cones? Not much!!!

I also picked the girls up on Wednesday. They love to play "let's pretend" and the stories they come up with are hilariously cute...

Thursday, Bri went off to camp with braids...

After camp, we went over to see friends Lisa and Maisie. (More on that in another post)...

And finally came Friday...

Bri was so sad that camp was ending. See the sad face?

Amy picked the girls up Friday so that Doug could take me out for a birthday lunch.

Doug and I then picked B up from ML's house. I asked the girls to give each other a hug since their super fun week was sadly over...

They are so grown up now.

Weren't they just meeting each other for the first time yesterday?

I suppose not. Time certainly flies.

Bri absolutely loved cooking camp - and a big thank you goes out to my friend Amy for recommending it. The kids cooked Italian, Mexican, American, Austrian and French food. They also learned about table manners and how to fold a cloth napkin several different ways. And, the girls told us moms that they learned to shred cheese without losing a finger - ha, ha! Bri came home with a cookbook that included pictures of her at camp that were taken during the week.

Chef Briana learned so much...

And you know what is awesome? She is taking another cooking camp with her friend Chani in July! She still has a lot to look forward to! Yay summer!
